Sure, that is why you have multiple sources to verify from. Why read only NYT ? But the blanket statements like Drudge is better than NYT is meaningless. Both have their own roles.. Drudge is an outlet which zeroes in on about to break stories and has some tabloidish tinge to it and NYT has it's own traditional role to play. Lately it might have faltered in biting the bait hook and sinker from Chalabites and administration, hopefully they are cautious next time.

And... the Boston Globe, owned by the NYT, ran Iraqi prisoner sex abuse photos that turned out to be images stolen from a pornographic Web site. Fact checking standards are non existent throughout the organization.
