Granted but even some gays don't support gay marriage so have to assume the two groups tend to balance each other to some extent. Not a 1:1. Wait and see whats happens with the Constitutional Amendment. Thats a better measure for what I'm talking about. The Amendment would not be persued if they didn't think they had the supermajority of votes necessary. States like Montana and Utah get the same number of votes as California in the Amendment process.
