The best way to tax is to tax consumption. Savings should be tax free WOW Elmat.. I agree COMPLETELY...

...even though you think my country is a marginal eco system at best... ;o)

You are absolutely right, El M. All government's income should come from consumption. The Eurozone has made a good step in that direction with the Value Added Tax. Everybody in the know swears up and down that Europe is finished, boring, aging, rigid, unimaginative. But they don't fight unnecessary wars. They don't claim that the Palestinians have no right to their land. Most of the Eurozone does not in practice restrict abortion. They have real gun control. Many of the countries have proportional representation, the best encourager of interest in voting. Europe is not devoid of good investments.
