DavesM, My issue is that many, if not all politicos, can only manage to think about what should be done with our taxes. That is, to increase or decrease the tax. They can't bring themselves to seriously consider how to decrease the cost of government. Neither Bush or kerry, to my knowledge, has pronounced how they will reduce the cost of government. I'm not talking about the military, but domestic programs and foreign subsidy stuff. I don't see this changing in my lifetime because the voters are too entrenched to throw out the big spenders.
