They compete against Halliburton, Schlumberger, Sanjel, BJ Services and Trican mainly but are big enough to have a significant presence. Activity levels pretty much ride the ups and downs of drilling activity, as does the equipment construction levels for these companies. Cashflow and earnings are usually good like the drillers. Most of the equipment they have is less than 5 years old. KD
