OK, here's my family history as well as I know it. Great, great Grandad lost his leg at the battle of Gettysburg. Cut down a small spruce tree to use as a cane WE STILL HAVE THAT CANE. Uncle was GASSED in WWI. He was a medic. Two brothers in WWII. One wounded twice and got a battlefield commission for capturing a Japanese General on Okinawa. One cousin killed on Omaha Beach, he is buried in France, no thanks to the asshole in charge there now. (Chirac) One brother served in Korea, he also was wounded twice but spent entire period in Korea from beginning to end except for a couple months recouping from a wound in Japan. I served in Vietnam. Thats our families contribution to America so far as I know it. JDN
