For my two cents I don't believe in protest votes except during the primaries - to eject the trash. IMO, a protest vote against Bush is actually a vote for kerry - note the Perot vote. A protest vote against Bush because of his spending policies is the wrong reason in my judgement. Why? Because kerry will not change any of that. In fact, kerry will increase spending and our taxes along with it. At least that is what his web site says and his press conferences since he won the primaries.

"I was voicing my opposition" doesn't work in the Presidential election when it is close.
