Lindy: With enough time and enough determination, I might, just might, find an edition of the NYT during its long history that had a good thing to say about a Republican president. (That goes also for the Louisville Courier Journal). But I don't have the time. Nor do I have the inclination.

I read the NYT because it makes my heart beat harder and faster. It is a form of physical exercise. It may not be pleasant during the process but in the long run it does improve one's overall health. Sorta like running in the marathon. The major difference is that the marathon comes to a conclusion. The NYT just keeps on running and running and running.
