Ted, You make like redefining yourself is a bad thing. Are you the same as what you were when you were 15?
Of course not. Back then, I supported Dukakis, Clinton, higher taxes to fix the deficit, more social programs, more appeasement, universal health care, etc.

Want to know why I've changed since then? I guarantee you the reasons why are a lot deeper than the reasons guys like Gore and Kerry "flip."

How could you possibly know what they think? First of all, IMO Gore does not take his career as seriously as he should......that's seems fairly apparent. I would never have let the GOP get away with what they did back in 2000.

I think with Gore what you see is what you get. I think he's more concerned with his family and having a good time. And that's very much okay.......maybe not such a great person to be president.

As for Kerry, I can't imagine in this country taking the kind of stand he took against the Vietnam war. I've seen how it goes with this war. Can you possibly imagine the $h*t he took? You don't think that level of abuse changes a person? I also suspect he very much believed in the stance he took back then. My God, Nixon was tracking him.

I think your observations on these two guys are fairly superficial. It might be why you can't see through Bush's facade.
