well i'm not saying what will happen. i'm simply stating what i think the intent and purpose of price rationing is.

i don't think the intent is for some government lackey to take bribes and get rich. i'm not saying it won't or doesn't happen. just that corruption isn't a foregone conclusion, and doesn't fit with the intent of the measure taken.

and who gets the copper shouldn't depend on much 'you' need it, but instead on how much the economy (or the defense department) needs what you produce with the copper.

as for how well price rationing works in real life, i don't know... that's a question for someone with the facts and figures that i don't have.

in my mind, price rationing is different than price controls. but that is also a question for someone with a better understanding of it, than that of my own.
