TheCow,

I have a Sony VAIO PC. Whenever the computer is idle for more than an hour or so, it just shuts down. Then i need to physically pull the PC plug and then re-plug it. Then i have to wait about 5 seconds before i start the computer. Do you have any idea as to why this happens?

I appreciate your help.
