The religious right of the GOP are working overtime to shove their beliefs down our throats. Have you been threatened with prosecution or even blacklisting if you don't support certain religion or certain religious ideas? Has the government collected your tax money for churches or demanded your appearance at a religious service or meeting? Have you been ordered by the government to recite the ten commandments or other religious sayings? Have organized bands of thugs, with government endorsement or support, intimidated you in to following certain religious practices? The answer to all of those is almost certainly no. Religious beliefs are not being forced down your throat. Have government officials acted inappropriately in regards to religion? Perhaps. We could discuss that and in some cases I might even agree, but that doesn't amount to shoving religious beliefs or practices down your throat. Tim
