Your "conscience" does not and may not justify transgression against the collective "conscience" of the society that allows you the privilege of participation and membership. Nobody forces you to do anything. You are NOT A SLAVE. But your values do not trump the values of society..,.because you are only ONE. And your "conscience" does not trump the conscience of society...because you ARE ONLY ONE. You may think you are a tall drink of water, but you are only the dew on a single frond.
