Dell is offering a pretty good deal on a desktop (not a great gaming machine as configured). The price is good, $349 shipped.

Includes Win XP home....P4 2.66 Ghz ($20 more for 2.80)...533Mhz front side bus.

Free 48x CDRW and 48x CD...I little light on memory...I'd recommend 256 MB...also the option to add a a 16X DVD Rom drive is only $30.

It's $499 before a $150 mail in rebate.

That would be borderline for XP. It will run but depending on your pc usage, is it wise to invest more money in a system that old or just apply the money plus a couple of hundred and buy something much more powerful.
