Newsmax reported a big ceremony for Moon was held at one of the Senate office buildings. They reported that my Senator Dayton attended. I EMailed Dayton for an explanation. Here is the reply [BTW, I have no idea who Mr. Johnson is. Jones rudely responded with the wrong name ]:

Dear Mr. Johnson:

Thank you for contacting Senator Dayton regarding Rev. Moon. The articles that are showing up on the internet are almost completely fiction. Senator Dayton briefly attended a reception where he was told that two of his constituents were being honored for their work. There was no mention of Rev. Moon on the invite, and Senator Dayton did not receive any award. I assure you that if you should visit Washington in the future, Senator Dayton will make every effort to treat you in a similar fashion. Thank you again for taking the time to contact Senator Dayton, and please do so again with any comments or questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Mark Jones

U.S. Senator Mark Dayton
