Did Canada have a big slave population, that now lives in it's inner cities, selling drugs to each other and starting gangs?

The problem is that out of the 16000 homicides committed in this country, 45% of them are gang, drug, and "disrespect" related. A third of the 16,000 are committed with hands and feet and another 15% are committed with knives. You take out the gang, drug and "disrespect" murders to reflect the normal U.S. population at large and we are no more violent than any other country in the world. Gang members are like foreigners. They refuse to assimmilate into the melting pot. My point is that don't worry about an ordinairy American killing you or your family. Worry about gangs. Unfortunately people are afraid of law abiding citizens legally owning guns. The stats prove they aren't a danger or at least not more of a danger than in any other civilized country.
