We're allies with Pakistan.......so screw all our current NATO allies. Who needs ya? When he announces we're allies with Botswana, that's when I move to Canada. Always a critic. So you don't think developing closer ties with Pakistan will help us look for OBL? He is hanging out in Pakistan, not in France you know. First, how effective have the Pakistanis been in capturing OBL in the last three years? Are the Taliban the only people who know those mts? I don't think so. We have been prodding Musharraf for three years to do something......he only acts when they tried to assassinate him recently. Real good friend! Secondly, his gov't is corrupt.......supporting him is more of the same......remember Saddam.....supporting him is what got us into this mess. Do you think the Muslims don't know that Musharraf is a butthead? Secondly, As far as France and Germany, "what have you done for me lately" definitely applies. Yeah, because they disagreed with us......had we listened to them instead of blowing them off, 800 Americans would be alive today, thousands more would not be without arms and legs and billions would not have been wasted. And yes, I plan to always be the "critic" from now on......I don't intend to ignore what my gov't does in the future. Its clear from recent and past events they don't always know what's best for this country. ted
