Used to fish the snake river in Wyoming and we ate trout for the three meals of the day. Now this is way before your time and the information about how bad fats are for you. We just dipped the fish in corn meal and fried it in bacon fat... over a fire outside.. Then it was fried so well one could pick it up and eat it like a potato chip..well not exactly.. but it was great. Also did the same with the pan fish from Catskill N.Y. lakes... Main staple of camping. By the way, I wrote you a long letter the other day and it disappeared from the screen before I could send it... ??????????
