Now the remaining major holdout is Nextel. Will Nextel go EV-DO?

In any event QCOM is sitting very pretty in the U.S. in regards to technology choices and Cingular will have no choice but to go W-CDMA quicker than they might have otherwise planned if data speeds become an imperative as EDGE is not going to cut it against EV-DO.

Nice to announce some good news without having to speculate and without having to add buts or ifs or downside scenarios. One of the good things about QCOM, there is just an awful lot of unambiguous good news around it.
