This is fascinating. Our supposed ultimatum to Saddam was really a sham. The whole thing was a sham and I knew it when it was happening. It makes me sick now to see the fukking mess we're in because of the administration's hubris and mendacity. And to make matter worse, they are not repentant. <<< ... Colin Powell's statement on March 17 to the effect that "the only way for Iraq to avoid an attack is for Mr. Hussein to leave the country and 'allow this matter to be resolved through the peaceful entry of force.'"
