I'm all in favor of this minimum wage increase. This increase will ensure that anybody that cannot produce $7 worth of goods and or services per hour is jobless and getting $0 an hour. Notice that labor unions are for the increase because most union contracts are based on a multiple of the minimum wage. If the wage is raised, all people in unions get a raise, even if they make $35 an hour. Of course Kerry selectively doesn't tell anybody that instead focusing on the ficitious $5 an hour family.
