Bush is only responsible for the hiring and firings of people that actually work for him. Take out your Constitution and read the section pertaining to the Executive Branch. Bush has the power to hire and probably not even fire all those people collecting paychecks from Departments like HUD, HHS, DOT, DOE, DOA etc. If people got fired or laid off at CISCO, Dell Gateway, go talk to their CEOs. Bush isn't their CEO. This is basic civics. Don't they teach anything in schools anymore. ARe you a product of an outcome based eduction? I also think its pretty basic that more regulation and taxes on business leaves lest money for investment and growth including job growth. Are you saying that Bush raised corporate taxes and regulation thus causing the recession. If true thats a great point. But its not true. So please enlighten all of us exactly how economically and policy wise Bush is responsible for the recession?
