we all know who government works for, be they democrat or republican. aint a fu#$ing thing goinng to change unless we develop a population that can 1) think critically and 2) look beyond the tip of thier own friggin noses. dont hold your breath

I saw your posts last weekend, very thoughtful. I think TV and an addiction to shopping/stuff/money have pretty much turned people into sheep. Didn't Gingrich propose a smaller gov't in his first 100 days of Congress? The Fed gov't couldn't keep growing without the deficit/stealth tax -- they can actually abuse the deficit to usurp power from State's, which I think has been the M.O. starting with Reagan. Basically, it is becoming the Borg.
