Ted, They're buying the book because he was a past president and because they were titillated by the Monica affair. Sorry to split hairs here, but you did say that "the whole thing is fairly boring and very past tense." Obviously it's in the past, but people are still "titillated" as you say, which makes it far from boring. Think it's the public that making too big a deal over it? Think Janet Jackson and how her career was successfully jump-started by her stunt. I'll bet Bill Clinton knows this too and doesn't mind the attention he gets from the Lewinsky scandal. Tenchusatsu
