Yes, centuries plural.....and before it existed here, it existed in England.

And for most of that time period, things like prayer in schools were considered OK.

I guess it depends on where you went to school. We never prayed in school and I've never heard that people did except maybe in the South.

Now, things far more insignificant than that are being prohibited in the name of that separation. Whether you believe in that or not, history is not a very good precedent to draw upon for support of that position.

Sorry, but I don't see why....you will have to be more specific.
