Yea, Dr. Id. I think he said the New Yorkshire TerrierTimes.

Or was it The NewYorkieTimes?

I forget.

But the fact that the crowd laughed should not be construed that the crowd was laughing at Bush. They were laughing at what Bush was saying. And that Bush would quote the Pit Bull Terrier Times right back in their face, to show them how terribly wrong they were in 1946, was funny indeed.

Again, I ask: Isn't something "implied" by the fact that the crowd laughed, even before Bush made that famous quote, by simply mentioning the New York Times.

And the fact of the matter, as I interpret the data, is that the New York Times has become somewhat laughable in recent days.

A crowd way out in Main Street USA and not in NYC or inside the Beltway proves it. They laughed. They laughed out loud--and louder. Which means they recognize an absurdity for what it is becoming--an absurdity. And they were not laughing at Bush. They were laughing with Bush.

The New York Times? And they laughed. Even before Bush's joke on the Times.
