I would argue there is a great deal of similarity between intoxication with the mentioned substances and intoxication with power.

BS. I didn't even like the guy until the scandal struck -- it took the realization that he was being targeted relentlessly by the right for me to begin supporting him.

Yes, I know. It was a big RWC.

Really, Z. You would benefit from thinking a bit about what happens when you blur the lines between right and wrong.

You can argue that Clinton was a victim of Ken Starr. But Clinton did what the Left does best, which is to blur the lines between right and wrong, so that pretty soon people can't tell what is and what isn't. The Marc Rich pardon is a great example, as is the Lewinsky affair, the travel office scandal, and tens of other "minor infractions", none of which taken alone amounts to anything.

If you could look objectively at the Left, you would see a group of people who chronically redefine truth to meet their own individual needs. I became very aware of this just prior to Clinton's first election, in which he was telling tons of lies, one after the other. I couldn't believe it they were so blatant. I've seen politicians lie before but never like that! It was remarkable. But he knew damned well that he could get away with it.

There has been NOT ONE bonafide scandal within the Bush administration. Lots of smear attempts from the Left, but not one that is factual. Clinton, OTOH, was a scandal a week. This is about integrity. I don't give a DAMN about anything else. If there is integrity, that is literally all that matters. And you can't name one liberal that can claim ABSOLUTE integrity.
