Well Anne, we have two here in northern Ohio. I have not seen any evidence of jet fighter type protection. I could envision the plants located in a semi remote area with military air defense sites around them. Alternately the enclosure domes could be designed for a worst case impact.

The bottom line is we have choices to make. We need a balance of more energy and conservation. To expect an economy to grow and reduce energy consumption is not realistic. To reduce the rate of energy growth is certainly reasonable.

The whole issue is complex. For instance - as long we allow essentially unrestricted illegal immigration the population is going to grow and the need for economic growth is desparate. The illegals, their children and our own children need a growth economy.

Nothing is simple. No single answer is the silver bullet. Simplistic promises and charges of conspiracy are not answers. They are attempts to delude the ignorant with an emotional issue.
