The half dozen Kerry supporters who attacked me for criticizing him care a lot about Ted Rall.

Pat Tillman's death was tragic .....

..... I hadn't noticed Ted Rall's cartoon regarding it. Thanks for filling me in on its existence.

I must admit that I was flabbergasted by Tillman's death. I remembered him at Arizona State and then with the Cardinals. Since the Cardinals are so bad, I hadn't been aware of his exit to the military. So the mere fact that he was in the military was shocking to me.

My immediate reaction upon regaining my composure after the initial reports of his death was that he was tragically misguided. How sad! Hero? Hardly! Simply misquided.

Ted Rall's cartoon really gives no credit to those who back Dubya in any way whatsoever. It is scalding in its contempt for those misguided Americans who support his vision regarding the "war on terror." I share his contempt.

Did Rall go over the edge? MAYBE. Deep down, though, I feel Tillman was a "sap." But I bet he was damn nice guy. His death raises mixed emotions with me. God, what a pity!
