It's most interesting to see how many in the media, both print and TV/Cable continue to ignore this authorization....

It would seem that Daschle, Pelosi, Kennedy, Byrd, Kerry, Gore, etc etc etc would have remembered this before they started shouting about "lying"...

There is a severe and chronic problem with confusing two different pieces of information:

1. AQ staged the 9/11 attacks
2. Iraq had contacts with AQ

#2 does not by necessity imply any involvement in #1

True and true.

What is not true, it seems, is that the American public has the level of critical thinking skill that you and I do. <g>
