Pardon me, butkus, but I do know what I am talking about. I have spent time in the field with heavily-armed federal agents whose specialty it is to go after the nation's most violent offenders. They don't worry about the nicities when they're threatened by holed-up, paranoid extremist gun nuts who refuse to surrender. The rightwing needs to stop with the Timothy McVeigh mentality. The extreme right is potentially just as dangerous as the Taliban. In the late 60's, the extreme left also started getting dangerous. It all comes down to whose better armed, hence the NRA, the front for a poetnail right-wing takeover led by paranoids. It will likely never even get close to happening, but just be aware.
