My words were to the effect that his actions were "tantamount to rape". Which is the way I feel about it, although I subsequently agreed it the characterization was perhaps too strong.

I do not believe he committed a crime. But the Linda Tripp recordings make it abundantly clear that Clinton took advantage of a young woman who was emotionally fragile, extremely infatuated with him and his power, and frankly, was in no frame of mind to refuse the advances of the most powerful man in the world. The advances were hers, you say? Maybe. We'll never know. Which is the reason Clinton had a moral and ethical responsibility to avoid the situation.
