" And they said it's not a repeated pattern? Its a joke........and don't forget Gitmo [Guatanamo]. Why did it take the media an entire year before they started to acknowledge it was a pattern. What's up with that? Because the non conservative media was afraid. Of course, the conservative are all for it..........nuke those gooks! I read the Brit papers to get the real truth. On another note, someone told me that Muslim countries breed terrorists because the Muslim culture puts the group ahead of the individual. Rather embarrassing how out to lunch some Americans are, when it comes to understanding foreign cultures. I don't think that person realized that it's very common in Asian cultures as well, to unselfishly put the family or society ahead of a person's own selfish interests, a value system that has absolutely nothing to do with terrorism. In fact, terrorism is a violent, selfish act performed by people that reportedly are isolated from their families. Americans need to wake up. Our allies, the Saudis, who we depend on for our oil are only a couple of steps less tyrannical than Saddam and the Taliban. Young women riding in cars are required to be completely covered. Monthly beheadings or befingerings are spectacle sports for the public's entertainment. Islamic police ride around insuring that the public are in compliance with the strictest interpretation of the Koran.........it would be as if the most fundamentalists of S. Baptists ruled in this country and enforced the Bible the way they saw fit. The rich in the Muslim countries are very rich; the poor very poor. So long as these conditions exist......poverty, repression, lack of freedom, fear and execution for the most minor of crimes.........there will be lots of terrorists. And our support of the Saudis et al will insure that we are targets as well. ted
