A four year #1 rating, 20% drop in Nasdaq.

"""""Mr Sato, who is credited with forecasting the last major slump in microchip stocks, was rated Japan's leading corporate analyst by the Nikkei Financial Daily for four consecutive years. """""

This article to not be ignored. Time to start trolling for shorts again IMO.

Interesting times as technology changes the game and will continue to hammer on inflation in a deflationary way, no matter how hard the FED FIGHTS IT.

The criminals and their debt bubbles are in big trouble due to China and technology.

Watch INET telephony as well, there are two companies I am fishing for bottoms on and will put in long term holds once I see an entry.

Any you like in the new wireless rollout. PM me if interested in the telephony picks.

You are far too optimistic about these "4G" systems Glenn. These are the same arguments used for what 802.11 would do to 3G. So far its a huge flop (eg. Cometa Networks). As for WiMAX, its a messy standard like 802.11g but that won't stop it. However, I highly doubt its impact will be felt by 3G. Verizon now has a 2 year head start (EV-DO), Sprint will very soon have to announce a technology to compete with them.

I might remind you that there are already several OFDM based "4G" manufacturers out there who have working systems that have done very little to impact 3G. There are others with different technologies that have equivalent technologies and they too have made little impact.
