The " Home - Message Boards - Login - Sign Up" Buttons on Dev. are unclear due to the bolding of the Font and the use of these buttons seems over done.

That'll be the default layout, for now. But I might change it based on this kind of input.

However, keep in mind that such screen elements (and many more) will be customizable on a per-user basis down the road, just as they are on iHub.

I guess my hope is you will keep it clean, light and focus on details that make it easy to use.

Definitely. Not only do I strongly prefer a simple interface, I'm very uptight about just how many bytes I'm sending over the wires and try to send not one more byte than is absolutely necessary to produce the page.

Another area of interest is to know if you might incorporate Googles site search technology in the new version.

The last I heard, their technology was quite pricey. Too pricey for us.

I do, however, consider "Search" to be one of the 3 key elements of what makes a message board ("Read Messages" and "Write Messages" being the only other two) and our search will be as full-featured as I can make it. The advanced search on InvestorsHub is a great example of not only how I think Search should work, but what I'm capable of writing.

However, that approach isn't easily applied to a message database the size of SI's.

In the near-term, SI will have search capabilities on a par with iHub's, but will only encompass the past 2 million or so messages. My eventual goal is to have it encompass SI's entire message universe, but it's not going to happen very soon.
