Heck, the army uses all this to get volunteers. Then there are the weekend warriors in the reserves...How many of them actually thought they would ever do time in a war zone? I'm not denigrating people that sign up. Just saying that a whole lot less would sign up if they knew they had to go to war. Times have changed, this isn't WW-II. More like Viet Nam...few if any signed up...Kids protested, fought the draft, went to Canada even Russia like good ole' Clinton. RE:"You can't find any four years of contiguous peace in the history of this country" After the Viet Nam war was over in 1975 what war did we get into within 4 years?
