"with a mind who seeks to manipulate the public for his own private gain. "

Wow- that's exactly what the left sees in the righties who happened to have been selected to govern this time around. Gee, all this is just so Amazing! Not.

Of course you've told us there is no level to which you will not stoop in order to promote your candidate- so how could anyone believe anything you say?

devious and self-serving intellect, in particular a man with a mind who seeks to manipulate the public for his own private gain.

There you go again...

If I didn't know better, I'd think that you were projecting.

Oh, that's right. I did my doctoral dissertation on projection.

The more you write, the more you reveal...
:)

Semantic differences? Seems to me that Jonah's quotes reveal Kerry's devious and self-serving intellect, in particular a man with a mind who seeks to manipulate the public for his own private gain.

The military refers to medals and ribbons all as medals. How an individual uses the word "medals" at any particular moment in time is semantics. I wouldn't expect any person to be 100% consistent in how they use the terms over a 10 or 20 year period. And from what Jonah has put together, you certainly can't tell if there is any meaningful inconsistency.

On the other hand.....Bush said that as part of his Guard service, he volunteered for overseas duty. But on his Guard form, he checked off "NO". Though I'm sure that doesn't trouble you.

And then there's the Alabama service. A man that knew the names of background of every member of the frat that he was pledging, can't remember a single name of anyone in his Guard unit...perhaps not a tight nit unit? And a dearth of persons that remember him in the unit as well. I'm sure that doesn't trouble you either.

Are there any conservative rags that have developed a chart comparing the service of Kerry vs. Bush during Vietnam?

in particular a man with a mind who seeks to manipulate the public for his own private gain.

Bush not only manipulates the public for his own private gain, he manipulates the men and women serving in the mid-east for his own private gain.
