I think (hope?) that the delusional extremists that believe Bush is an instrument of God, leading to Armageddon and the Second Coming, are a small minority. It is the larger group of misinformed people that concerns me: those that think the "war on terror" is a battle of cultures or religions. The first group is obviously mentally deranged. The second group is mostly ordinary Americans that are misinformed about history. They are not challenging their biases and not considering the consequences of their beliefs. Therein lays the roots of fascism.
