Hmmm ... upsampling would rather blow the 640x480 concept, wouldn't it?

I think you are right that some experimentation with prints would be in order, both with respect to print process and image size.

Have you consulted with an offset printer to see how these will print?

Not yet, I'll cross that bridge once I'm sure it's built. (g)

I have been printing select eyemods on my inkjet up to 12x16 inches and Kevin has taken a couple or them to 3x4 feet on a plotter printer for me, to give me an idea how large they can survive. Thus far, awesome results.

But thanks, I'll definitely keep your thoughts in mind.
