chinu. You said...." lorne, you missed the essence of my entire post. The US use of force has nothing to reduce the number of beheadings which started with the US journalist Daniel Pearl in Pakistan. Since then several have taken place and many US bullets have been fired."....

NO chinu I did not miss the essence. Here is what you posted when the topic was islam.

....." I see it differently, in fact I see it like candidate GWB in 2000. The US has to stop being the policeman of the world and concern itself with its own welfare. Above all else my fundamental oppositopn to Bush is because of his "pre emptive strike" policy.
As you can see from this article, Islam is not a bad religion. It is the people who make it bad or good and it is true for every religion. Give the moderates in Islam some time and they will prevail. We do not need to police them at all. ".....

We were not talking about beheadings so why did you bring this up?

Where do you get this idea that the USA is trying to be the policeman of the world? Have you forgotten that radical islam attacked the USA on 9/11 and that the world of islam needed to be sent a very CLEAR message from the free world. And to get back to your original post the message has been understood by some within islam and they are beginning to examine themselves and that's good. Radical islam has been attacking the USA for a very long time and nothing was really done about it.

You said....." Besides, you totally missed what I said which is the US has to stop being the policeman of the world. I did not say the Democratic President or the Republican President. You politicized it. "......

NO chinu I understood exactly what you were getting at. I did not politicize anything on the contrary it was I that accused you of doing this and I was correct. Look at your post above where you specifically mention Bush. You said...." I see it differently, in fact I see it like candidate GWB in 2000".....

Why can't you simply go back and read what you wrote before you go blasting off in different directions? Why do you always leave it up to others to explain to you what you said?

So lets get back to the original point which was is islam changing due to pressure from the free world? I say yes.

And appears to me that the original chinu is back. :-)
