"China Urges ISPs to Pledge 'Patriotism' ...weed out any criticism of the central government"
news.yahoo.com.

Tejek, I think you need to start a "political thread" over in China. They could really use your help in understanding that criticism is fundamental to making improvements.

China has bigger problems. Have you heard of the one child rule in China. People are restricted to having one child as a form of birth control. Well, in China, as in much of the third world, male babies are favored over female babies. As a consequence, the Chinese are 'disposing' of many of the female babies born to them and mostly keeping their male babies. Its been going on for at least a decade now.

When that's been done in other countries, the cohort that grows up short of women tends to be more irresponsible, aggressive and rebellious. Many a gov't has been overthrown by a generational cohort that is predominately male.

Frankly, Amy, it may be a moot issue......I think the world may implode in the not too distant future. Humans are pretty fukked up! <g>
