RE: "But there is still no shortage of Americans willing to work overseas under tense conditions, be it in Russia, Pakistan or Indonesia. Consider Halliburton, one of the biggest contractors in Iraq. Although 39 of its workers have been killed in Iraq (two others are missing), hundreds of people lined up two weeks ago in Houston to apply for work at the company's KBR subsidiary in Iraq."

Unemployment must be pretty bad that people are willing to risk their lives.

I wish the ones in the ME would come home. I think they are trying to make a fast buck.....but they're being penny wise, pound foolish.

You're lucky you don't watch tv...........it was gross watching the S. Korean screaming for his life tonite with three al Qa'ida terrorists standing in the background. The poor sucker just arrived on the 15th and will be headless before the end of the month.

I keep wondering what they are doing with Pfc Maupin. The whole thing is disgusting.

1. There will always be mercenaries, adventurers.
2. Maybe it's not as bad in some of those places as you are being lead to believe.
