Do you know that for sure? Because diplomats usually have national aircraft for transportation...not chartered aircraft.

As to the others: At the time they left, was it known that 15 of 19 hijackers were Saudis? If yes, they probably should have been detained.

I was thinking the same thing...they should have been checked out. And why the rush to get out? Did the Saudis know that 15 of the 19 were Saudis?

Answer: Reality. They are sitting on at least 25% of known world oil reserves. You want another embargo? How about a wider ME war?

And with Iraq sitting on another 25% of the oil...we're finally getting to the heart of the Iraq war. Terrorism was just an excuse to make the move on Saddam. Weapons inspectors? We don't need no stinking weapons inspectors.
