Here is an example and there are plenty more. The Al Sadr militia holed up in the Najef Mosque with women and children and having heavy weapons and ammunition stored there as well and conducting combat operations from there. You think they care about women and children? They, the insurgents are indiscriminately blowing up women and children on a daily basis through bombings, suicide and otherwise.
