The RE PR machine is kicking into gear, however, to mitigate fears of a slump. I saw a report that actually reported how many people had thought about buying a second home. I've thought about millions of dollars of expenditures I'll never make, like the 225k diesel pusher motorhome, the cabin in the mountains, the place on the Oregon coast, to name a few. Who hasn't figured out how they'll spend their winning Lotto ticket? Trying to shape expectations of a home market that will stay on fire for all eternity.
