Apparently so. The folks who live on the land, with close ties to nature, haven't a clue what the best way to manage the land is, do they? Only the liberals in their ivory towers? Sheesh!

Smithee, cut your BS. I'm from rural Ohio originally, the all-American Huck Finn type. Also, rural America does not belong to the rightwing. Nor does the flag or the military. The day they do we're all in deep trouble. The rightwing has betrayed rural Americans. That was pretty much John Edwards message and it rings true. The rightwing Bushies who support the Walmarts and out-sourcing of jobs are only killing small town America. It's all been a sham and a scam, just like GW's phony ranch and exaggerated twang. Watch Ohio go to John Kerry this year signalling the fact that good ole folks in the rural areas have finally seen through the boys who cry wolf from their slicker country clubs for Big Oil and corporate interests.
