JF, Did I hear somewhere that, worldwide, the lowest percentage of favorable impression of Americans is in South Korea? Like, less than 5% or something. Could that be accurate or did I mis-hear it?

You definitely misheard it. Korea is just as polarized as America is. The difference is that in Korea, liberals have the slight majority in the polls.

By the way, the division in Korea also runs along generational gaps. The older generation is more likely to be conservative and supporters of America. The younger generation is more likely to be liberal and anti-America.
