It depends on what the meaning of including these words in the authorization letter is. Does it "suggest" anything, or is it idle chatter? I'm not saying that its wording wasn't intentionally misleading. It was!

It was suggestive. It couldn't state a fact or present evidence, because there wasn't any. It could just be "suggestive" by writing "based on information available to me," (gee, i wonder if it has anything to do with the 9/11 part he mentions next!)

""including those nations, organizations or persons who planned, authorized, committed or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.”

Why did he mention 9/11 in the letter about Iraq, along with saying he had "other information available to [him]," if he wasn't "suggesting" something, Ish?

Explain it to me, okay? Just idle chat? Mind drifted to Saudi Arabia for a sec while he was typing?

You guys are making me laugh today. I'm painting shelves, but this is so fascinating an exercise in denial of the obvious that my brush is getting dry.
