OT -- oil.

I've happily noticed that there has been a run up with energy stocks that are not oil production based.
finance.yahoo.com

BTU and CNX are coal
OMM is oil tankers
SU and SNQ are oil sands
(disclaimer - i own them all.)

I wonder if people are coming to the belief (or understanding) that oil prices are going to remain high forever, and that oil production will quite possibly be capacity or geology constrained.

i've posted on this topic before, but never these links:
news.bbc.co.uk
peakoil.net

if you find this to be BS, then please excuse me. If not, then enjoy... and happy investing.

This link sounds a bit sensational, and not completely true to me, but here's a fun read:
fromthewilderness.com

I am trying to figure out what to if this is even partially true...
