It means he has been wrong for long but finally one day sees the light.
If he can do it, see the light. and change overnite-why not Kerry.

Actually, Reese is associated with Lew Rockwell, who is pretty much on the fringe of conservative thought, being one of the few conservatives to repudiate Abraham Lincoln, for example. In his segment of the conservative universe, being against the war in Iraq is not unusual. Indeed, compared to someone like Reese, Pat Buchanan is considered relatively mainstream. People like Rockwell, Buchanan, and Reece have hated neoconservatives for years, and have put an excessive emphasis on the Jewish character of the "movement", even though not all neocons are Jews.......
